Pride Month

June is Pride Month and is a time to celebrate the work of the LGBTQ activists who have changed the world. Alongside our partners, we dedicate this month to uplifting LGBTQ voices and stories, celebrating LGBTQ culture, and supporting LGBTQ rights.

Throughout the month of June, many of our partners will be hosting a variety of community events and opportunities for learning and celebration – we encourage you to attend and support these efforts! There are volunteer opportunities available to lend a hand and engage more deeply.

While this month highlights the LGBTQ community, there are opportunities year-round to continue to advocate and use your voice to create a future where every person can be truly respected and valued for who they are.

Here are some amazing organizations in our community that you can donate to or volunteer at:

There are also more organizations who can be found on Twin Cities Pride’s Resources Page. HOTC hasn’t partnered with all of these organizations, but we’d be happy to do some research on your behalf if you are interested in exploring any of these organizations: https://tcpridemag.com/resources/
