Pro Bono for Small Businesses

A Target program in partnership with HandsOn Twin Cities.

Target recognizes the systemic and structural barriers that Black and Indigenous communities and communities of color face every day. We believe everyone has a role to play in addressing these injustices.

We’re committed to using our size, scale and resources to advance social justice and racial equity both inside and outside of Target. We are working toward a future where everyone, regardless of their race or background, has equal access to opportunities and in which everyone feels welcome, valued and respected.

In June 2020, in addition to our $10 million commitment from Target and the Target Foundation to invest in local and national partnerships to address social justice, we committed 10,000 hours of pro bono consulting services for Black-, Indigenous- and people-of-color-owned small businesses in the Twin Cities to help with their rebuilding efforts. The program has provided immense impact and we’re thrilled to continue this program nationally.

We are offering support to small businesses across a variety of functional areas that you will find outlined below. We invite you to share the challenges your business is facing and the needs we can help with, to set you up for a better future.
