Description:

Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older to volunteer for this project.

Work one-on-one or in a small group with 6th - 8th grade English Language Learners. Listen to students as they read, correct their pronunciation, and check for their understanding of the reading material. The students have conversational English skills but are, on average, two years behind grade level in their reading ability. No experience necessary. Just come with patience and a desire to help students succeed!
