Description:

Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older to volunteer for this project. Sabathani Community Center in Minneapolis helps many people through their Family Resources program. In fulfilling the pressing everyday needs of those served, details like general upkeep and cleaning at the Center can easily be overlooked. The Resupply & Revitalization project sets out to address this oversight, by marshalling volunteers to participate in monthly projects designed to help maintain the facilities necessary for the excellent programming Sabathani is able to provide.
Volunteers are needed to help with a variety of tasks. Some months volunteers will paint or work on various cleaning and upkeep projects to maintain the basic needs department as a clean and inviting place to visit. On other occasions volunteers will work in the clothing room, a popular place for community members to find items for family members, job interviews and other needs. Volunteers are needed to hang, sort, and organize the clothing to make it easier for program participants to find what they are looking for.
Join us for this fun, high impact project! Resupply & Revitalization takes place the first Saturday of every month. Come once to see what you think, or make plans to visit every month – it’s up to you!
