Description: Oftentimes our residents move in with little more than the clothes on their back. Create welcome baskets for our residents moving into the Lamoreaux and Continental Apartments. These apartment buildings serve formerly homeless adults and the baskets are given to residents as they move in.

To create the welcome baskets, please include the following in either a laundry basket, rubbermaid tub, or reusable cloth bag. This is a great opportunity for kids to get creative and make welcome cards for the resident as well.

Welcome baskets include:
Toothpaste
Tooth brush
Bar of soap
Shampoo/conditioner
Toilet paper
Dishsoap
Deodorant
Laundry Detergent
Multi-purpose cleaner with sponge or paper towels

Useful additional items when possible:
sheets
blanket
pillow
Lotion
Body wash
Razors
Air freshener
Washcloths and bath towels
Liquid laundry detergent
sheets
shaving cream
fingernail clippers
garbage bags

We ask that all items be new.

We encourage you to drop of your basket(s), and attend a tour of our apartment building and more information about Aeon and our residents so you can get a full picture of Aeon's work and the need for affordable housing. This generally takes one hour of time.
