Description: Deliver high quality training for any of our career development classes and workshops, including Career & Life Planning for Women (CLP); Finding Work that Works; You’re Hired! – Tools & Techniques to Land Your Dream Job; and a customized CLP series for women over 45. We also offer self-awareness, work/life balance and social media classes. Also offered are opportunities for individual interpretations of the following career assessments: MBTI Step II, and Strong Interest Inventory.
Classes are held during the evening & occasional Saturday mornings at the WomenVenture site and at the Edina Community Center.

Descriptions of all our classes and dates offered are in our current class brochure and on our website: www.womenventure.org We have curriculum and leaders’ guides for all our classes. The procedure is to observe the class, meet with the WomenVenture Career & Work Services Manager and do a short mock training session. These may be arranged with the Director of Volunteers.

Preferred skills & qualifications:
Training/teaching experience preferred
Familiarity with career development process
If interpreting assessments, need familiarity with assessment; if interpreting MBTI, need to be certified
Flexibility
Ability to work with clients with varied backgrounds
Commitment to agency mission (help women become economically successful & prosperous)
For Social Media classes, trainers need to be familiar with Twitter, Facebook & LinkedIn and have a LinkedIn account.

Commitment:
Three to four month commitment preferred
