Agency: The Family Partnership
Description:
We're looking for a volunteer or group that would be able to build and paint a dollhouse for children to use in therapy. Kids use "play therapy" to express their feelings and work through traumatic experiences.
Volunteer from home! This could be a project for one person, a group of friends or a family. You could use a kit or design it yourself from scratch. We're pretty flexible about the design. Volunteer(s) supply/donate all materials. You can include a plaque crediting you/your group for the donation (i.e. this dollhouse made and donated by X family or group). We also need basic furniture and multi-cultural dolls to go with the house.
