Basic Skills Tutor

Agency: Minnesota Internship Center Charter School

Description: Tutor at a small non-traditional charter high school, tutor inner city students, ages 15-20, mostly of African American heritage, with their basic skills in reading, writing, math and computers. Volunteers assist during class time under the direction of the teacher. Students are at risk to not graduate high school. Individualized attention is vital to their success.
