It's that time
again...

...time for our third annual
Serve-a-Thon, that is! Hands On Twin
Cities Day 2008 is coming on Saturday, June
21st!
Like the popular
"walk-a-thons", volunteers at Hands On Twin
Cities Day raise pledges ($25 minimum) which
help fund meaningful volunteer service
opportunities throughout the year.
Improving on the
"walk-a-thons" concept, volunteers at
our Hands On Twin
Cities Day Serve-a-Thon are engaged in meaningful volunteer
service projects, themselves.
This year, volunteers will be working with the
Neighborhood Involvement Program of
Minneapolis to help local seniors with yard work
and chores, as well as some large-scale park
cleanups with the National Park Service,
Friends of the Mississippi River,
and St. Paul Parks & Recreation.
Individual volunteers and
groups of all sizes are welcome to participate.
Come Be the Change with us on Saturday,
June 21st! Register below:
Yard Cleanup for Seniors (Minneapolis)
Indian Mounds Park Cleanup (St. Paul)
Storm Drain Stenciling (St. Paul)
You will have the
opportunity to select your preferred method of
fundraising after you sign up for a project.
