Corporate Month
of Service 2007!
Following the success of
last year's Corporate Month of Service
2006 project at Fridley Middle School, Hands On
Twin Cities wanted to make Corporate Month
of Service 2007 even better - more
volunteers helping more people at more
locations in the Twin Cities. We love a
challenge!
This year we worked with more than 400
volunteers from five community-minded
corporations: UnitedHealth Group,
PiperJaffray, UBS, 3M, and SAP.
These volunteers renovated
four Twin Cities schools - Cityview
Performing Arts Magnet School in
Minneapolis, Cleveland Junior High in St.
Paul, John A. Johnson Elementary in St.
Paul, and the Southside Family Charter
School in Minneapolis.
Corporate Month of Service volunteers were
landscaping, laying mulch, painting
playgrounds, classrooms, and murals,
weeding, and more to beautify and help
foster a sense of pride in our community's
schools. Check out the project re-caps
on the right for more details.
