we were thrilled to be a part of each one.
Projects ranged from stuffing
backpacks with supplies to creating a paver

| Volunteer Spotlight |
 |
|
Welcome to the new section - Volunteer
Spotlight.
We are pleased to give our affiliates the
opportunity to highlight one of their
valuable volunteers.
This month's Volunteer Spotlight recognizes
Todd S.
who contributes his time to the Hosanna
Harbors, Hugo Community Food Shelf.
Todd was nominated for this recognition by
the food shelf for his commitment and
reliability. Todd has been a regular
volunteer every Wednesday evening and has
become a "go to" person for suggestions due
to his great business background and problem
solving skills.
Debbie Peterson said it was important for them
to recognize Todd because, "the Food Shelf
would not be as successful without Todd. We
truly appreciate all he does for The Hugo
Community Food Shelf."

Nike at the Wilder Foundation Bush Memorial Children's Center |

On November 6th HandsOn Twin Cities helped
organize its last Corporate Month of Service
project of the year, and we were glad to work
with Nike for the first time here in Minnesota.
Nike has worked with other HandsOn
affiliates across the country, and chose us
to help them coordinate a volunteer
opportunity for their new hires at
the new Nike store located in the Mall of America.
Volunteers helped retape lines on the gym
floor, paint murals, and clean & organize an
art room and a storage room. The volunteers
then shared a meal with the students who live
at the facility.
In just a few short hours these volunteers
made a huge impact on the home and school of
these children and we hope this is just a
start of working with Nike locally to make a
difference here in Minnesota.

other CMOS projects visit our

If you have a group wanting to participate in
a similar project in the future please
